Shanghai Power Station of Design (psD) and the British Council jointly held the first solo exhibition in China of the famous British artist David Shrigley – “lose your mind”. One of the exhibition themes is ‘No Photography’, which inspired me to use a sarcastic way to convey my idea in an exhibition.
This exhibition is satirized in the same way as an exhibition, exposing the pathological phenomenon of photographs being taken at galleries.
First of all, I think it is good to express in the form of an exhibition, which just echoes the theme of criticizing the phenomenon of exhibition venues. The second is to use irony, which can attract more attention than benign or direct persuasion, so as to better achieve the purpose of widely disseminating thinking.
Sarcasm leads to clearer and more creative thinking (Francesc, 2015)
